My Business Outline

Eve Chester: Freelance Filmmaker

Creating film to inspire, promote and enteratin.

Mission Statement

My aim is to create amazing film content for clients, particularly in business expanding or advertising videos. I want to show the best of a client’s business, script or even just a celebration they want to keep as a memory forever. As a passionate filmmaker, I aim to make films for people trying to make their script come to life, but need a bit more help. I am also available to do promotional videos, for companies or businesses not matter how big or small.

Business Plan

Pricing:

  • For advertising purposes for companies or other businesses I charge £100 a day and any amount needed for production, such as hiring somewhere to film, buying props or costume. Therefore, if these sort of things are provided or are already available it will not be added onto the final payment.
  • For personal filmmaking, I charge £125 a day plus the amount needed for production (filming location, props). Although this is more than for advertising, this is because if I am given a script to work with, it could take more time and I may have to come up with an idea myself.
  • There will be expenses added to this such as accommodation, equipment rental etc.

In my first year I will have to take out a loan to pay for expenses such as equipment (but if any specialised equipment is needed more may be charged). Therefore, for my first year I will be aiming to pay my loan back, into the second year. By the halfway point of the second year I aim to be breaking even, having repaid my loan back. Then in my third year I hope to be making profit on my films, to put money back into film, by buying more equipment and making even better quality films. My mission is to only take out of the business money that i need for survival. All profits will be re-ivested to help the company grow.
